across the cobalt sky
ever so simple incision
the night sparkles
blue stars and laughter
spills from my lovers

seeking refuge within

the world explodes
with magenta sparks
bees in the fireweed
the frog sleeps
eyes open in quiet prayer
let go of the buddha
the cry of two foxes
mimic the cry of a baby
listening to the night
silence gives birth
to universes and the host
of names
the world seeks new stories
raindrops fall into bodies
of black water
dark whales swim
in giant pods
like trout swirling
around the pond
of your sleeping
body
the world of the senses
measured in breathes
and glimpses of beauty
while glimpses of death
and unspoken truths
terror defines the sublime
the human embraces
the mirrored face
naked they see themselves
in the world of appearances
bear becomes man
man becomes god
god becomes nectar
